Bottle at home. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of light smoke and iodine, wood and dark stone fruit. Taste is more of the same. Boozy finish.

Bottle at ash's. Pours deep amber, nose is caramel, woody, vanilla, some almost amburana spice, taste is sweet, quite fruity, caramel, berries. Wish this had been smoky. --- Beer merged from original tick of Volume 1.3: Islay on 06 Dec 2022 at 15:19 - Score: 8

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep amber with red chinks. Thin beige head. Nose - wood and toffee. Smoke and fish sauce. Taste - boozy, woody and sweet toffee. Palate - medium to full bodied, creamy middle and finish. Overall - good.
bottle at ashs... deep copper brown... Light earthy almost smokey but nit the smokey I was expecting... soft sweet earthy toffee.. soft sweet caramel toffee
