2023 Champion Beer of Sheffield - Silver Award Winner!
Named after one of Sheffield's rivers, Porter Brook.
Our London Porter is brewed with a generous mix of brown malt and choclate malt to give depth in flavour and colour, dark brown with ruby hints when held to light.. The mix of the dark malts give aromas of chocolate, caramel and subtle notes of coffee which develop in the flavour.
Hopped with two UK hops, Phoenix and Goldings.

Medium creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. Light chocolate.

Cask at the Sheffield Tap, Sheffield. Off black colour withy a creamy pale tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty and bitter. Medium smooth body.

Cask at the York Tap. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of light chocolate, faint nuts. Taste is dusty cocoa, light fruit. Light sweet finish.
