Bottle. Pours nearly clear tea amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of fruit and caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and malt and touches of caramel. Estery and mildly bitter aftertaste with acidic notes. Okay but not my favourite style in general.

Bottle, 5.4%. Bready aroma. Almost clear amber colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is also bready, slightly papery and spicy with a faint aniseed finish. Sweetish finish, and clean bitterness. Good mouthfeel.

500ml bottle. Very nice, clear, reddish, dark copper colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, sulphurous to beige head. Grainy, malty, minimally musty aroma, hints of spelt, minimally fruity, hoppy overtones with a touch of cherry and red berries. Taste is mellow malty, minimally dry, husky, minimally chocolately malty and slightly fruity hoppy, hints of spelt, peanut pellicle, cherry, a touch of red berries.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts fine malty, light roasty, light metallical. A bit moldy-dry. Finish could be more balanced. Okay.

500ml bottle; BB 27th Nov 18, drank at home on 31st Aug 18 sat on the patio in the late afternoon sun. Red hue to the amber body, clean and clear in looks, the head an off-white affair. Malty aroma and taste, semi-sweet with caramel to the fore in both the nose and flavour; hidden bitterness arrives mid sip.
