Pours amber from the bottle. A foamy to frothy head makes a quick exit. Aroma is caramel, Bauernbrot. Taste is malty sweet with dough and caramel tones. A bit grainy and dusty at the end and then, out of nowhere, cherry. Body is medium to light, carbonation moderate.

(bottle) Clear, copper colour with a tall and firm off-white foamy head. Slightly nutty malty aroma with notes of caramel and traces of molasses. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly dark malt character with nutty hints, caramel and a touch of cardboard; shades of herbal hops can be found towards the mildly sweet and delicately bitter finish. Not really a pleasure. 16.X.17

Bottle thanks to ErlangerNick. Drunk at home. Clear orange red colour lasting beige to tan head. Fruity malty aroma. I thought it ok. A little dusty malt. Light bitterness on the finish. Dark red fruits. Some berry. I thought pretty good.
