Can from Beer52. Pours reddish brown with a massive off-white to beige head which took ages to settle. Aroma - sweet berries, bread, caramel, nuts. Taste - disappointingly tinny in flavour at first. Malty and bitter with some light fruitiness. It does improve over time and I picked up roast and spice notes. Near medium bodied, soft mouthfeel.

Can from Low Cost Beers. Appearance - deep amber with a hint of red. Beige head. Nose - red fruit and dried orange. Taste - lightly cakey, cranberry and bread. Palate - light to medium bodied, sweet malt middle and gentle bitter roastiness on the finish. Overall - great example of the style.
