16/11/2025. Can bought direct from the brewery. Good pour. Nice spiced milk stout aroma, Christmas spices are mellow but nicely evident. No real hint of chilli on the notes but it’s there on the taste, with a developing warmth. Light milky chocolate. Oily. Quite watery. Would have enjoyed this more if they’d left the chilli out.

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden. Cola brown. Opaque. Thin foamy beige head. Aroma has light spice - gingerbread - and vanilla-influenced lactose. Flavourwise we have full on spice burn. They were liberal with their application. The effect is more chili than spice! Under the heat there's something attempting to be noticed. A creamy chocolate presence. Light-medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. It burns. The pain is good.
