Has been created in recognition of the efforts of seafarers, crofters and the local community of Loch Ewe during the second world war as the base for the Russian Arctic Convoys that provided vital maritime links during the war effort.
Hopped with Sovereign, East Kent Goldings and Ernest.
A hop forward IPA based on the original India Pale Ales. This is crisp, refreshing with a gentle slight mango flavour upfront with a hint of grapefruit to follow. This IPA is a traditional UK style IPA that is balanced and although generously hopped is restrained enough to detect malt subtleties and delicate green hop aroma. We keep the ABV restrained to 5% also.
