The artwork for this beer comes from a very talented local artist Paul Bennett. This piece is called Langdale Dawn, his vision of the moody and ever changing landscape in a stunning part of the Lake District. It could be more perfect for this complex dark beer.
Which brings us to the beer itself, a multi layered, sumptuous imperial stout, indulged with chocolate, coffee, tonka and coconut, sitting at a comforting 10.5%. Sit back and enjoy this beer, savour its changing layers as it warms and breaths.
A celebration of a new beginning and a toast to the year that has been.

Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - deep brown to black with a thin crema tan head. Nose - tonka and creamy chocolate. Sweet spice. Taste - cocoa powder and sweet cinnamon. Raisins. Palate - medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel and still fairly sweet on the finish. Overall - luscious beer.
