Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 6 weeks past BBE. Pours a murky dark brown with small off-white head which fades a bit too quickly. Nice aroma of roasted malts, sweetness, hay, hints of spice and dark chocolate. Taste is lovely, there is a roastiness but chocolate and berry notes come through. Hop wise there is a grassiness with a tingly spice in the finish. Light to medium bodied, slick, moderate fairly fine carbonation. Good stuff.

Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours clear dark red-brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of cocoa, hazelnuts, faint grassy hops. Taste is more of the same. Toffee and grassy bitter finish.
