Barrel-Aged Plum Pudding Porter is a truly indulgent beer. With a recipe laced with dark toasted malts, dried fruits and lemon zest, a six month stint in oak cognac barrels elevates things to a whole new level. Distinctive notes of rich dried prunes linger at the fore, with sweet marzipan flavours adding to the festive feel.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 13/03/22. Light black with a good sized lasting tan covering. Nose is sweet malts, figgy notes, chocolate, spice, dark malts, prunes. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, chocolate, mellow cognac, toffee, prunes, dates, oak. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent if perhaps lacking some depth for the ABV.

Can thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep brown with orange chinks. Creamy slighy off white head. Nose - woody, prunes and hazelnuts. Dried fruit and cake generally. Taste - woody, light oxidation and dried fruit. Palate - medium to full bodied, dry woody finish. Overall - complex, a bit oxidised. Possibly not peaking.
