Bottle at James's. Pours clear deep amber, nose is caramel, raspberry, vanilla, oak, raisin, a touch of funk, taste is sweet, fruit, chewy toffee, woody, a bit savoury

Big bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - deep amber to red. Thin beige head. Nose - smells like a corked wine. Taste - again, corked wine. Funky and toffee. Palate - light to medium bodied, funky harsh edge. Overall - this seems like a beer that has reacted badly with the wood.
