Bottle from the Lancashire Bottle Shop. As Elder Pale Ale. Same abv and contains wheat. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of elderflower and light lemon. Taste has a hint of biscuit. Floral finish.

Bottle from the Homebrew Bottle Shop in Oxton, Birkenhead. Appearance - golden with a slight haze. Nice head. Nose - looking for elderflower and it’s there if a little faint. Some wheat and citrus notes dominate though. Taste - the elderflower is definitely more pronounced now. Still some tangy lemon pith too. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - another solid citizen.
