Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - brown, sort of black tea colour. Thin off white head. Nose - lovely nuts and marzipan thing going on. Pink snowball flakes - so red jam and coconut. Taste - tonnes of cherry and coconut just a very gentle sour or dry under note. Palate - medium bodied, creamy texture. Tangy and sour through middle and finish. Good persistence. Overall - lovely complex beer, though not so much of the Flemish brown or red.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy red-brown with a couple of yeasty floaters. Aromas of marzipan, faint wood, black cherry, coconut. Taste is sharp sour up front, vanilla, acetic acid, light cherry. Dry finish.
