Cask ale, half-pint after breakfast at Ice Wharf. Covering white head, upper part lacing on the glass, next-to-clear amber body. Moderate malt-fruity nose, scent of mild caramel and herbal hops. Mixed taste of toffee, herbal hops, and ripe citrus, a bit doughy. Discreet bittersweet finish. Decent. (Camden, London 02.10.2023).

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A pale amber pour with a tight creamy cream coloured head; biscuity aroma; creamy in the mouth with a biscuity taste and a slight fruity sourness; then a grassy bitterness to finish. A solid, satisfying, but rather underwhelming beer.

Cask at the Great Spoon of Ilford, London on 19th May 2022. Slightly hazy amber with shallow off-white foam and initial lacing. Hoppy aroma with herbs and spices. Herby hoppiness in-mouth and a grassy, bitter finish. Medium bodied with a very smooth mouthfeel.
