Santo Cristo 1917 Russian Imperial Stout
Una Russian Imperial Stout en el que nos hemos ido al lado dulce, por lo que se podría resumir como un bombón de chocolate con licor de 11,5%.
En febrero de 1917, Nicolas II, el último Zar del imperio Ruso, se vió obligado a abdicar. Fué sustituido por un gobierno provisional, y finalmente, en octubre, el Partido Bolchevíque, liderado por Lenin y Trotski, tomó el poder. Esto llevaría a uno de los acontecimientos más importantes del siglo XX, la creación de la Unión Sovíetica.
Continuamos la seríe Rusa con 1917, una Imperial Stout más robusta e intensa, como el período histórico en el que está inspirada.

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle@Jespers - Black pour with broken covering. Sweet and light roasted malty with rich chocolate and caramel notes, some earthy charred burnt malty nuance, dark fruit, treacle, oily slick mouthfeel, sweet malty finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown to black, small brown head. Aroma is dark roasted, burned. Roasted dark malty. Sweet, dark roasted, deep overripe fruity. Slight chemical. Bitter and dsrk roasted finish.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Scooper Tasting ], Ulfborg, Denmark. [ As Santocristo 1917 ].Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, wood, alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, molasses, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted, licorice, wood. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170304] 7-3-8-4-16

Bottle, 11.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, little coffee and wood. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, strong chocolate, little liquorice, sweet, warming, notes of alcohol and medium bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a tiny brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, wood and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 040317

Botella 33 cl en el kraken 04..12..2016 (r00). Color negro intenso con bastante espuma beige oscuro Aromas y sabores maltosos tostados ligeramente quemados y con predominio de dulces, caramelos tostados y ligero dulce de leche. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica sobre todo al final, al calentar. Lo mejor al final cuando toma algo más de densidad. No está nada mal.
