Pours mid amber, a bit translucent, some haziness. Last pour brought out some very thin, grey, sort of dust-like looking deposit; not sure i've seen something like that before, didn't seem to cause trouble anyways. Healthy, pretty frothy white head, quite good retention and nice amounts of lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: caramel maltiness, a touch of floral sweetness (something in the likes of chamomille), a thin hint of buttery softness, delicate grassy and citric hop notes. Taste notes follow the aroma quite closely: no butterscotch detectable, but the beer has a pleasant touch of slightly rustic softness. Hop notes seem to bring low bitterness, with a delicate fresh grassy hint and a kind of juicy/sweet, mild citricness. Average intensity, quite good taste definition. The beer feels sweet oriented in the overall balance, but in a mild and pretty clean way. Quite light in body, average, slightly soft-feeling carbonation, resulting in a quite easy, decently smooth mouthfeel. Pretty nice polotmave.

750 ml bottle. Unclear dark amber with a fluffy head. Roasted nuts, roasted malt, caramel, dry citrus notes, grassy hops. Dry hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium to light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry hesty roasty malty finish. Nice, well made Polotmavý, don’t see a reason for the bad ratings below…
