18/7/2018. Cask at the Split Chimp, Newcastle. Pours pale amber with a lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, caramel, hops, malt and a hint of pine. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Another old rating from the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - sharp grapefruit plus pith. Taste - more pithy grapefruit with a little pale malt in the background. Palate - light to medium bodied, fairly creamy but far too sharp for me on the finish. Overall - interesting but perhaps one for the extremaphiles.

Cask at The White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks late last summer. An amber coloured pour with a small off white head on top. Healthy citrus/tropical fruit aroma. Tastes of citrus/tropical fruit, hoppy, quite bitter. Surprisingly drinkable.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 3/11/2011. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Tropical fruit aroma with a touch of grapefruit. Flavour had more fruit, some solid malts and long, hoppy finish. Good.

Cask@Craft Beer Co, London. Slightly hazy amber looks with a thin lingering off white head. Can only assume that’s Nelson Sauvin hoppage out on show in the nose and flavour alongside some great juicy tropical fruit notes, and dang tasty it was too. Oh baby I like it raw....
