Mild resiny almost flowery hoppy aroma, full bodied, almost buttery. Flavor is less buttery and less flowery and more hoppy, more malty, sweet malty, hoppy bitter. A pretty solid sweet double ipa with some flavor notes that almost feel like barley wine. Good stuff

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of citrus, flowers, resin and pine. Pours hazy golden color with medium sized soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts juicy tropical and stone fruity and biscuity, follows by resin, vanilla and lactose, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is average bitter. Full body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate.Far from nonsense…

Poured from 473mL can. Lightly cloudy gold with white head. Stone fruit, tropical notes, feint hint of alcohol. Very good.

2021-09-30, can from The Gull, North Vancouver; 9.5% ABV, 8-4-9-4-18=43
Hazy blond colour. Confirming that this is very mellow and sweet, without being too thick; fruit salad of tropical and of stone fruits, lower side of bitterness, but not a flaw. Delicious.

Cloudy blond colour. The arom ais milder, the flavour is more intense; tropical fruit character, also plums, yellow stone fruit; it's lean, with medium sweetness, and light alcohol (an achievement for this strong beer); juicy. None of the typical TIPA issues. Excellent.

16 oz. can, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a medium white head. Nose brings out pithy stone fruits, moderately dank hops, and some earthiness. Flavour is so juicy, with lots of juicy stone fruits, lightly dank hops, bright tropical notes, and medium sweetness. So juicy and nicely hoppy even for 2 months old. Really great.

Can pour from Valley Beverage, Sherman Oaks. It's an opaque, juicy dark yellow with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet and tart pineapple and orange. Taste follows aroma exactly with late mild bread malt backbone. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with absolutely no bitterness. Overall, perhaps a little thin for the style and tartness a little different from typical sweetness but can't deny this is plenty juicy and strength makes up for any lack of complexity!
