Močno in sladko pivo je namenjeno za pitje le na posebne dni v letu v družbi svojih najdražjih. Naš Potica Pastry Stout je narejen s skrbno izbranimi zrni, tako svetlimi kot temnimi, običajnimi in neobičajnimi, praženimi in sladkimi, s slovenskim hmeljem, ki preseže sladkobo, in zelo dolgim vretjem za popolno karamelizacijo.
Na koncu smo dodali sestavine našega najljubšega slovenskega peciva. Skrbno smo popražili orehe, jih zdrobili, namočili v rum in jih dodali v fermentor. Za srečo smo dodali še kose čisto prave babičine potice.

75cl Fles van Clef. Zwarte kleur, geen kraag. Erg zoet, rum, rozijnen, vijgenbrood, licht metalig, boozy, wat gebrande mout, stroop, kaneel. De volgende dag kon ik de zoetigheid wat beter hebben, het bier is zeker smakelijk, maar dit is toch wel echt veel te zoet. Genietbaar in kleine hoeveelheden. Medium tot volle body.

Sampled from a shared bottle. Alcohol in the nose, heavy roast and lots of sweet malt. Good palate.

Bottle, 0.75l, shared with Patrick. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, raisins and rum. Pours almost black color with thin creamy light brown head. Taste starts with sweet chocolate and roasted malt, follows by liquid potica and cinnamon, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, sticky texture and average carbonation in palate. Really sweet, but still the best potica ever…

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black, tiny beige head, nonlasting. Sweet nose, biscuits, chocolate, dry fruits, nuts and some rum. Dessert nose. Sweet start, lots of nuts and sponge cake. Quite sugary, can almost bite into it. Gently roasted finish, lots of sweetness and slight alcohol. Fuller body and very cloying. Overly sweet, but it works somehow.
