11/3/2023. Cask at the 2023 Coventry Beer Festival. Pours murky dark brown with a minimally bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasted malt, flowers, mild honey, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly watery, soft carbonation. Not much to look at and lacked some body, but aroma and taste both nice.

Bottle from Corks of North Street, Bristol. Cola brown, with a brief, beige, head and a small amount of carbonation. Aroma of milk chocolate, toasty malts and a suggestion of floral honey. Slightly oily mouthfeel, flavours of chocolate, nore roasted malts and a dry finish. Not a lot of honey character, but a good dark beer nonetheless.
