9/3/2023. Keg at Sandbanks Brewing Co, Poole. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of coffee, spiced rum, dusted cocoa, vanilla, nut, malt, caramel. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, touch tart. Medium body, oily, soft carbonation. Enjoyable.

Tap @ Sandbanks Brewery. Hazy very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, light spicy and rum. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 090323

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are caramel, roast malt, chocolate, rum and coffee. Sweet roasty finish.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival, 7/2/2020. Near black in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Rich rum and spice aroma, some chocolate and vanilla sweetness, coffee beans, a touch of alcohol warmth and toastiness in the finish. Enjoyable.
