8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear dark amber brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, toffee, milk chocolate, dark fruits, touch of coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Earthy bitter finish. One of the better Beds beers tried at the festival.
