At a tasting, thanks, big gushing whipped cream, opaque black color, aroma of coffee, spiciness and greenish hints, mellow coffee flavor with metalic and charred hints and maybe fruit, lightish bitterness, sweetish hint. Nice and enjoyable.

Very dark brown beer, thin beige head. Big coffee aroma with some chocolate. Taste is much the same, withba but of tangy fruit and there's a good hefty hit of dark chocolate in there a good malty base to it. This isn't the most complex stout going but it's a big rich, smooth thing that doesn't exactly what you'd want.

Can from The Good Beer Company - Chinatown, Singapore. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty sweet toffee caramel malt, dry, dusty, mineral, earthy, light dry coffee, dry hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, rich roasty caramel, dry coffee, liight liqourice, charcoal, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Gusher alert! Strong coffee stout. Lots and lots of coffee in a stout that's already quite bitter. It is what it promises, and certainly not bad, but I can't shake the feeling that some sweetness (lactose?) could balance this out more, making it great.
