Bottle picked up from Beer Gonzo, Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Sunday 19th March 2017 Pours black with a mid sized light beige head. Lots of coffee on the nose, not such a huge amount in the mouth, it’s a tangy, fruity imperial coffee stout, particularly good for being a little different from the rest of the pack. Bottle shared on the 42nd floor - I picked this one up at Clapton Craft in Hackney. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Interesting aroma, some burnt coffee, ashy roast, burnt toffee. Light sweet flavor, a little metallic, with hints of bile, coffee, cocoa. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with bittersweet chocolate, brown bread, light coffee, scorched earth. Interesting stuff.

Bottle thanks to Leighton at level 42. It pours black with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich roast, dark chocolate, coffee grounds, rocky road and porridge. The taste is smooth, rich, bitter - sweet, roasted malt, coffee grounds, mild acidity, cacao nibs and light acidity with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent.

Aroma has lots of bitter coffee, some booze and wood. Flavour is packed full of coffee. Very bitter but still dangerously easy to drink.

330ml bottle from The Wine Seller, Wolverhampton. Pours deep dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma is roasted malts with a touch of coffee. It’s a roasty, toasty character alright, bit thin on the old coffee and mouthfeel is a touch thin but on the whole not a bad effort. My first from these guys.
