29/3/2018. Cask at the 29th Egham Beer Festival, held at the EUSC. Poured black with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Moderate body, watery texture, soft to fine carbonation. Quite enjoyable but wasn't getting the rum.

Many thanks to Minutemat for this bottle. Malty smooth nose. The beer stars malty wth a nice woody rum basis. Rich and fruity, hints of alcohol, very smooth. Malty, rich and fruity, not much bitterness, smooth mild finish, great!

On keg at the Craft Rooms, Lincoln. Cola black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma has the rum I expected and is more of a standard Porter. Taste light roasted and slight fruit. Slightly fizzy body.

50cl bottle brought back from Tenby by my brother, ABV 5.5%. A glossy drck brown pour with a billowing pale chocolate coloured head; fruity chocolate aroma; rather thin with a fruity chocolate taste - Cadbury’s Fruit & Nut perhaps; then a slightly tart finish with a touch of rum; before a sweeter milk chocolate finish with a trace of vanilla. Pleasant, needing a little more weight.
