This is our 5th barrel-aged annual EiE Imperial Stout release aged & conditioned in Irish whiskey barrels. This is a big beer that is deceptively easy drinking with roasted dark chocolate flavours layered over complex vanilla & smooth whiskey from the barrels.

Keg at Brewdog Soho, London. A black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Rich, roasty, malty, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon aroma. Tastes similar rich, sweet, chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, slight caramel. An excellent imperial stout.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is dark chocolate and meaty, slightly vegetal whiskey. Taste has dark chocolate throughout with a meaty whiskey and raisin finish.
