Jet black with a short tan head. Aroma of toasted malt. Flavour is chewy toasted oats, roast malt, light ash base, finish is a very pleasant toasted oats.

Draft at Northern Lights mini beer festival. Dark maroon brown color, clear, light beige head. Milk chocolate aroma. Taste is mostly chocolate, not overly sweet. OK.

Bottle from Fairleys. Appearance - black with a beige head. Nose - blackcurrant, raisins and dark chocolate. Roast and liquorice. Taste - more black fruit, smoke, dark chocolate and coffee. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy middle and a toasty finish. Overall - very nice.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice. Taste is dark chocolate. Rich and smooth. Nice.
