Taster. Dirty, dark brown, medium tan head, medium lasting. Medium malty nose, biscuits, some caramel and nuts, slight hints of chocolate. Medium bitterneess, some sweet presence and a bit grainy. Slightly roasted in the end. Mild aftertaste. Light body. Nice one.

16/10/2021. Can from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear copper brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, coffee, chocolate, brown bread, dried fruits, touch of berry. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Nicely done.

Can at Candid, Stafford. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small white head. It has a sort of nutty aroma about it. In the mouth it has a syrupy texture, with flavour of treacle mixed with dark fruits, toffee and caramel. A hint of sugary sweetness too. A nice solid brown ale.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - brown with a slight haze. Slightly off-white to tan head. Nose - chocolate, hazelnuts and light roast. Taste - roasted nuts, creamy but also dry, milk chocolate. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry, roasty finish. Overall - a perfectly good example of the style.
