Cask (gravity) at Brunswick, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with minimal tan head. There’s roasted malts, peanuts and spices in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off sweet and juicy with a creamy texture. Flavour has dark fruits, roasted malts, spices and a hint of salt. Traces of nuts and cake come later along with increasing bitterness which dominates the finish. This is decent.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep brown but with an orange chinks towards the bottom of the glass. Creamy coloured head. Nose - spiced cake, caramel and fudge. Taste - Jamaica cake, treacle, salt and ginger spice on the finish. Palate - medium bodied, spicy rich middle. Possibly salt residue on the very end. Overall - very nice.
