Fuggling Helles is a clean, rich golden lager with a smooth bready malt flavour and a mellow finish. Hopped with 100% English Fuggles, they deliver a subtle grassy and floral aroma. The bitterness is soft and restrained. A refreshing, superbly balanced everyday drink.

Can thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of honey, light caramel. Taste has light herbal bitterness, more honey. Sweet finish.

Can from the brewery. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation and a decent layer of white lacing. Nose - bready malt and dry herbs, as per the description. Taste - caramel, sweet malt and honey. Just a whiff of herby bitterness again. Palate - light bodied, sweet middle and fairly dry finish. Overall - pretty decent example of the style.
