Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2015 [ The 40th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 8th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Loch Ness Mad Ness ].ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, burnt caramel, caramelized malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramelized malt, caramel, nutty, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151009] 6-3-7-3-13

Cask at benleva hotel. Sweet and malty, quite bitter, fruity, dry piney finish.

Cask at the Guildford. Pours clear copper with a thin off-white head. Aromas of resinous hops, light caramel. Taste is bitter. Finishes helluva bitterand a bit thin. Interesting.

Cask, 4.0 % abv, half pint at Cloisters. Golden-brown body with a reddish glint. Beige layer blanketing the glass. Malt-fruity nose. Flavours of leafy hops and caramel malts. Deep bitter ending. Medium to thin bodied. Just alright (Edinburgh 07.08.2013).

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/8/2013. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Citrus hops with a herbal edge, solid mlats and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at SRAF... Copper... Bubbly white head... Soft dry fruit nose... Dry toffee... Light bitternes... Quite woody... Too bitter for me
