Bottle from the brewery tap room. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of tropical fruit and citrus, faint gooseberry. Taste is very dry, pithy bitterness. Bitter finish, a bit too bitter and dry for me.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white wine and gooseberry. Flavour of lime pith and orange pith with a dry finish. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Light fizz. It’s nice but very dry. One was enough.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Slight haze. Nose - apricot, orange, mango. Ripe melon. Taste -more mango and apricot. Tight orange pith finish. Palate - creamy and medium bodied, dry well tapered finish. Overall - lovely. The style has been nailed - the wine yeast has replaced some of the hop bitterness.
