Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. POurs a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a notes of grains and biscuit with a bit of sweetness. Flavor is similar with a combination of sweet grains and biscuits.

Draft at OF. Sconnie Mexican Maibock..enter the danger zone. Fitlered amber-tan color. Malty aroma, a touch of alcohol. Hmm. Not so bad. Lots of Ale-like fruity tones, which sort of cover up or replace the lager yeast tones. Doesn’t cover the alcohol well at all, comes off quite harsh. Almost pepperminty at times, just lacks any semblance of subtlety. Not far from being an undrinkable mess.
