Waxed 750 mL bottle from the brewery, batch 01 of 2018, bottle #186. Dark reddish amber, thin fizzy tan head, poor retention. Aroma of toffee, raisin, caramel, plum. The taste is grape, plum, toffee, brown sugar, vanilla. Medium bodied, booze well hidden. Nicely balanced. Nice beer.

Draft at Old Fashioned. Deep brown-black with a reddish-tone. Steady, thinnish beige head. Smooth and drinkable with a nice creamy chocolate touch, minimal to no hop character. Mellow, with an almost Porter-like feel. Not much bock pungency, but it still works out OK.
