Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8.5
Pour is a used motor oil black with a thin mocha tan head. Aroma is a wonderful roasted malt with a espresso coffee feel. Flavor is more coffee, a almost burnt roasted charred malt and a little marshmallow minor sweetness on the tongue. 2nd Shift makes a wide variety of styles but they are absolutely killing their stouts. So roasty and rich with intense flavors.
