Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Sourish malty aroma. Starts intense woody and dry, sourish, fruity notes of berries, some grapefruit. Some herbs. Finish again dry-woody-malty, sourish aftertaste. Interesting.

0,33 l bottle purchased at the brewery. BB 09/27. Deep red in the glass, slightly cloudy, small short living head. Intensive winery notes on the nose. Soft malt way behind. Taste starts as tart red fruity juice, increasing pale malt on a low dose in the second part. Old school sour cherry lolli pop to the end. Some carbonation. Enjoyable summer stuff.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an almost clear reddish with a tiny, off-white head. Fresh but not overwhelming aroma of cassis. Medium body, dry berry fruitiness, slight tartness. Dry finish. Refreshing. 261221

Bottle.Dark reddish colour with off white head.Aroma is fruity of dark cassis berries and forest mild dry and little sour to but nice overall.

[ As West Brew Cassis Ale ].
ABV: 5.3%. Clear medium red colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, blackcurrant, earthy, wood - barrel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, earthy, woody, blackcurrant, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201010]
