ABV: 8.5%. dark dark brown black colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, spicy, coffee, woody, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, woody, chocolate, roasted, dark malt, spicy - cinnamon, coffee, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20191221]

On tap at Fermentorem, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out intense roasted malt, light cocoa and harsh wood. Flavour is loaded with wood, roasted malt, and dry cocoa. Dry and bitter. Good stuff.

Sharp roast but a touch of infection. Pours black with good head and lacing. Some grapefruit bretta type vibe. Bitter and tangy end. Tap at Aslin 4th.
