From old notes. Visited the brewpub in the Summer of 2000. Tastes a lot like CHB, slightly stronger and slightly less carbonation, but a little more bitterness

Cask ale, shared with friends at Coach & Horses in Norwich. Low beige head that laced well. Dark brown body. Malty smell with hints of berries. Mixed taste of dark malts and berry fruit. Ends with a slightly roasted touch. Just alright. (18.02.2017).

Clear nutty color with a off white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft to flat carbonation level. A bit sweet and a mild bitterness. Dried fruits, bready and caramel flavor. Some strange suorish notes. Not to inviting this.
