440ml can from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear almost black colour, with a thin off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt and blackberry. The flavour is roasted malt, with a smooth, somewhat rich, roasty, tart blackberry, light liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not exactly keen on tart fruits in a stout. It doesn’t really work for me.

From a 440ml can on 21/7/2024. Pours a deep dbrown with a negligible head. Smells of chocolate and dark berries. Tastes of of the promised coco puffs and blackberry. It's not overly sweet though, with a mildly tart bitter finish. Has a slightly slick palate with moderate carbonation. Doesn't quite drink like 9% but still packs a reasonable punch. Enjoyable.
