Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Brum. Hazy orange-gold with small white head. There is a citric and peppery hop with some subtle but notable tropical additions. Nice bitterness running through. Semi-drying but has a refreshing quality. Nice.

11/9/2024. Tap at Sommar Bar Waterloo Street, Birmingham. Tap #3. Pours cloudy pale yellow gold with a small creamy/frothy white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus, mango, slight herbal edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Nicely done.

Draft at Sommar, Waterloo St, Birmingham. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, grainy, fresh, light citrus, dry, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Tasty, but didn’t get the lashings of sweet tropical fruits as promised in the commercial description.
