Draught @ Office Bar, Rådhusgatan 15, 65100 Vasa, Finland. [ As Stallhagen Black IPA ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, light roasted and chocolate, moderate hoppy, wood. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, wood, dark malt, light roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160707] 6-4-6-3-12

On tap at Viking XPRS from Helsinki to Tallinn. Clear dark brown, similar to Coca Cola, just with a lasting, small, bubbely beige head. Mild roasty aroma with licorice, piney hoppy notes, hints of coffee, dark fruits, caramel and citrus. Medium with with fairly low flavour intensity and a moderate bitterness. Medium body with slightly fizzy carbonation. Fair enough, but a bit disappointing.

Tap@ Office, Vaasa. Dark brown, thick off white head. Sweet roasty, mild woody and hint of vanilla perhaps. Flavor has roastedness, dryness, hops. Mild flavors, but smooth and high drinkability.

Tap at The Oak Barrel, HEL. Dark ruby color, good creamy beige head. Aroma has caramel and toasted malts notes and some citrus-fruity hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Toasted maltyness, hints of chocolate then fruity-citrusy bitterness in the aftertaste. Strong carbonation. Simple cda.

Draught (M/S Gabriella) - Black with a small head. Liquorice, pine, blackcurrant and fudge in the aroma. Slightly soapy taste with liquorice and coffee being detected alongside the soapy notes. A slight spiciness is noticeable in the finish.

Tap at Jumpru, Oulu. Colour is black with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, some fruits, hops, coffee and roasted malts. Typical Stallhagen beer, no problems but quite dull.

Draught@Office, Vaasa. More or less black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is ashes, some liquorice along with quite a hoppy edge to it. Flavour is quite similar, and a bit out of balance for my preferences, meaning the ashiness is quite much too strong to match the hoppiness of the beer.
