F: no real, some dark brown bubbles. C: black totally opaque. A: chocolate, cocoa, dark dried fruits, some coconut too, dark malts, bit roasted tones. T: rich dark malts, cocoa, chocolate, bit roasted, coffee touch, dark dried fruits, bit vinous, coconut yet very weak when it is cold and chocolate is too prominent when it is cold but later not so much, full body, low carbonation if any, light oily mouthfeel, not bad at all, enjoyed if not so complex, 33cl bottle from Malting pot in Brussels.

Draught at BXL Beer Fest, Brussels.
Black body, with a medium, creamy, lacing coffee-colored head.
Aroma of cocoa, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, soy sauce, some coffee.
Tastes pretty similar, with subtle booze
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium roasty, a bit sweet, dry, wooden, with cocoa powder, liquorice, coffee, some soy sauce, some coconut.

Really tasty. Rich and complex, while very smooth to drink. Great balance, with the right amount of roasty malts, the sweet adjuncts and a subtle alcohol warmth. Very characterful stuff.

9th July 2018; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting in Chez Sophie. Cheers Paolo for the 33cl bottle of this. Pours a true black colour, the head a tanned affair. I found some wine like esters before the coffee aromas took over in the nose. taste wise it's coffee, chocolate and vanilla in a viscous, slick body. Very pleasant and very boozy.
