Abandoned to the hopeless life of the lonely is Forlorn West Coast IPA. Made with Simcoe + Centennial + Strata + Citra Cryo, Forlorn is a 6.7% morose monster with crushing, dank flavors of Lemon-Lime, Papaya and Pine with a cheerless, lonely, blindingly bright, zesty finish that also makes for a lovely shower.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: semi-amber to glossy yellow color with a good transparency to it; a two finger white foamy head sat on top then dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: papaya & grapefruit blend over top of a light lemon hoppiness; clean cracker malts underneath
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together semi-bittersweet with a semi-zesty and bright underneath; brisk finish of lemon to papaya & grapefruity tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, sturdy sessionability; fair clean smoothness along the tongue
Overall: good West coast styled IPA I would very much welcome again.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and light summer fruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and light summer fruit linger.
