From BOE, Many thanks to Mrs. Eva to bring to me this fantastic Spicy Porter. Cudenko super wyglad, etykieta tajemnicza i artystyczna, wyglad piwa to super smolista czarna barwa, gesta i syropowata, ciembo bezowo-brazowa piana, sredniej wielkosci i srednio trwala. No compromise. YEAH!

Bottle at home, thanks to James, 22/10/16. Rich black with a dirty tan head, a solid looking brew. Nose is rich malt, charr, spice, meaty, dark chocolate, molasses. Taste comprises bitter roast, charr, cocoa, black pepper, molasses, biscuit, dark malts, dark fruits, mineral notes, light green chilli. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with earthy and meaty tones. Decent flavoursome affair.

Bottle at home, 12/07/16. Bought at Hogs Back Brewery. Sweet coffee aroma - my cold may not be doing it justice. Dark, viscous. No light comes though it. Light brown, if weak, head. Having had some initial sips I left to get warmer as was a tad too cold. Medium bitter, roasted, the initial effect of the chili is to take away from the bitterness. Smooth, slightly viscous with a gentle carbonation. The chili comes through, however. It adds a pleasant warmth, especially to a sore throat. The last chili beer I had was twice as strong but half as quaffable.
