At the source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is fennel and soft sugary malt. Taste is fennely and anise oriented. Weird, but surprisingly drinkable.

Draught at the brewery
Hazy blond color with large head. The fennel seed works quite well, also because it seems moderately sweet, and it doesnβt cover completely the beer. In small quantity itβs pleasant.

On tap at Storm, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out shitloads of licorice and fennel. Flavour is identical, hiding any pilsner like notes. Interesting experiment. Drinks easy, just quite a bit weird.
