Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 1st April 2017. Clear copper with shallow, disappearing off-white non-lacing foam. Sweet and pungent malty aroma. Oversweet liquid pass, with hints of fruit and leafy hop. This flavour profile shapes the finish. Medium bodied with a flattish mouthfeel. Did not finish pint, moved onto something else.

Cask at the Bootlegger, 31/03/17. Amber pour with a decent light beige covering. Nose is biscuit, earthy, autumn leaves, light spice. Taste comprises biscuit malt, light fruit rinds, toffee, hedgerow berries, light twig. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light bittering finale. Average bitter affair.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Errant Knight ].Unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, nutty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 26/12/2016. Amber in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Sweet, slightly bready, malts with some hedgerow fruits and touch of leafy hop. Finish was moderately bitter. Fine.

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours clear amber, nose is toffee, herbal, floral, taste is sweet, chewy toffee, bready.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - Nose - chocolate, honeycomb and biscuit. Taste - caramel and biscuits. Bit of Crunchie Bar. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - a solid session bitter.
