15/2/2019. Bottle found tucked away in one of the fridges at the Bottle Room (formally Inn Beer Shop), Southport. BB 04/2018 which I didn't notice when I bought it only a few days ago. Good pour was reassuring, dark brown with a nice sized off-white to beige head. Aroma of hops, dark fruit, citrus, pine, rye bread, light chocolate, lightly perfumed. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finishes sweeter, quite dry, a little chalky. Decent brew, especially considering it's BB date.
