8/2/2019. Keg at Tom's Tap & Brewhouse, Crewe. Pours almost black with a beige coloured head. Aroma of dark chocolate, deep roasted malt, ash, toffee, vanilla and black forest gateaux. Medium plus sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, very soft carbonation. Sweet finish with light toasting and a hint of tartness developing. Very good.

Keg @ Tom’s Tap and Brewhouse, Crewe. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and light cherries. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. 080219

Keg @ Tom’s Taphouse, Crewe. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coconut, caramel, hops and has a sweet roasty finish.
