1/2/2019. Cask at the XT Brewing tap takeover at the New Inn, Colchester. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of over-ripe fruit, caramel, hops and malt. Medium plus sweetness with light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fruity, sweet finish. Not my favourite by XT.

Cask at Heidrun, HW, 30/11/18. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent faded beige covering. Nose is orange peel, biscuit, caramel, toasted malts, light breads. Taste comprises caramel biscuit, dusty hops, faint pine, orange pith, grassy bite. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok stuff.
