Angelica is designed to be a one-of-a-kind hazy showcase for the magnificent Mosaic hop, bringing forth strong citrus flavors. What really stands out about this beer is the pillowy mouthfeel the wheat malt brings out. The color, haze, and taste are as if you’re drinking a freshly squeezed glass of orange juice with a full mouthfeel. Angelica is clean, refreshing, and a true piece of art.

At BXL Festival. Hazy golden with white head. Finally a beer that I understand. Light sweet malts, custard, tropical fruit, vanilla, grassy and weedy hops. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Pours hazy straw into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes leaving gloppy lacing. Lemon aromas. Soft with sourdough and chalky citrus pith upfront turning to mild earthy bitter funk in the medium length finish.

Pour is a bright hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a decent but not over the top citrus rind. Flavor is grapefruit with prickly carbonation and a decent pop of bitterness. I'm sure there are some wheat malts used in this beer but I could not detect any. This is another hazy hop beer that kind of fit the bill but was a bit more bitter than most I've had.

Grabbed from Half Barrel Beer Project. Cloudy yellow big frothy head. Nose is grapefruit pith and oats. Tastes of fresh wheat, grapefruit, lemon, raw dough, a little zesty oregano. Creamy body easy drinking. My buddy invited me to visit Lord Hobo with him last weekend but I had to go back to being a parent so alas this in remeberence of what could’ve been.

Pours a very hazy light gold from a can. Aroma is a sour lemon, light pine. Flavor adds a touch of melon and some wheatiness. The argument by others is that this is not a wheat ale. They are right. It is a hoppy pale ale or even an IPA, with some wheat. It is still a pretty good beer though.

Bizarre in a good way. Aroma is hoppy. Stronger elements of an IPA are present; however, hope are present more in the palate than in outright bitterness. Wheat elements are distinct but muted. Palate contains citrus and pine.

Some restaurant: pours opaque NE haze with small head. Aroma is light fruitiness. Taste is like a super mild NE IPA. Light fruitiness. Sweet. Low bitterness.
